Abortion Clinic Worker Way Out

Abortion Workers: There’s a Way Out

If you work at an abortion clinic, we are praying that you will leave this industry.  Jesus said “what would it profit and man to gain the world and to lose his soul” (Matthew 16:26).  No one in their right mind would sell their eyes for all the money in the world.  Don’t sell your soul for some money now.  God is not okay with accomplices to murder, He is not mocked, and He hates hands that shed innocent blood.   (Deuteronomy 27:25, Galatians 6:7,  Proverbs)

You didn’t grow up wanting to work in an abortion clinic.  Here is a way out.

Abortion Ever Right

Is Abortion Ever Okay?

Is abortion ever okay?   That is a question that many are asking these days.  Really, the proper way to ask the question would be “when is it ever okay to kill a child?”  People intuitively know the correct answer is, “never”.  Our consciences, however, can be seared and hardened by our rebellion towards God and we consequently tend to find ways of justifying things we otherwise know are wrong – even things like murder.

Because God is the Creator and we are made in His image, everyone has a right to life.  People try to appeal to emotions and “situational ethics” meaning things that are normally unethical can be considered ethical based on the right circumstances.   Like when parents say that abortion is wrong, yet when their teenager ends up pregnant they conclude that abortion would be okay because of their situation. When it comes to murdering unborn children, many want to give exception clauses such as: rape, incest, the mothers life is in danger, etc.  However, God has revealed in His word,  abortion is murder.

Although someone may not believe in God, their belief will not change the reality of His existence and when they die and stand before Him they will be without excuse for two reasons: First, creation proves there is a creator so they won’t be able to say they did not know God existed (Romans 1); and second, their conscience knows the difference between right and wrong (Romans 2) so they won’t be able to say they are not guilty of violating God’s law written on their hearts.  Every time we have ever lied, cheated, stolen, or were unfaithful, we have violate our conscience, which knows these things are wrong.  Just like we know if someone kills an unborn baby that person should be brought to justice.

It is the height of hypocrisy saying that an unborn child can be legally killed on the whim of their parents, yet it would be considered homicide if the unborn baby was to be killed by a drunk driver.  God’s laws are absolute, His morality is unchangeable.  That is why we hate to be lied to, stolen from, and cheated on, and we would want justice if a drunk driver killed an unborn baby, because we know these things are wrong.  Yet we have fallen short and have sinned against God when we violate His decrees.   This is why we need a Savior – because we’re lawbreakers.

A sensitive conscience not hardened by excuses, rationalization, or fears will confirm God’s truth, and will reject “situational ethics”.  Objective moral values are based on an unchanging standard.  For example: the fact that murder is wrong is objectively true no matter what your situation is, and no matter what the majority believes.

Abortion sheds innocent blood (one thing God hates Proverbs 6:16) and shedding innocent blood  even unintentionally held a capital offence life for life (Exodus 21:29, Deuteronomy 22:8, Exodus 21:22-23).  Sin of fornication, and adultery may have caused  pregnancy but the pregnancy is not the punishment, it is just the result of sex.  Children our a gift from God, not a punishment (Psalms 127:3).  God’s word the bible is the ultimate authority and has the last word on this issue, not our opinions and emotions.

Sidewalk Counselors

A good day of sidewalk counseling

It was a good day side walk counseling and sharing the gospel at Planned Parenthood in Fresno today. Scot brought his sons and nephews and they did a wonderful job even in the face of persecution from a screaming lady who stopped her car blocking one lane of traffic to yell at them for standing up for right. She claimed to be a Christian through her angry rant. We encouraged the young men by reminding them that she is angry with God and not them.

Personally I had the chance to speak to a young woman named Kirby, 26 years old, who had had an abortion at age 22 when she had been pimped out by her cousin. She actually believed that it was better off for the baby to be aborted than to bring it into the situation she was in at the time. I reminded that it was wrong even though she believed she had God’s approval for her action. Kirby was and is anti-abortion and pro-life in her view but was totally mixed up in her beliefs. She said she would probably go to hell if she died tonight and that opened up for me an opportunity to tell her that God didn’t want her to go there. I shared the Gospel with her and told her what Jesus had already done for her. I asked her to steer other girls away from Planned Parenthood even though she said she has been going there all of her life. Kirby is currently the mother of a couple of children whom she loves. Pray for Kirby.

“Christians” going into Planned Parenthood: The Curse of Cheap Grace

This young couple at Planned Parenthood thought they could live in continued sin because of their faith in Jesus. Instead of giving them grace they heard about God’s justice.

Scriptures used

the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:8-10

( John 3:3, 2 Cor 5:17, 1 John 3:8-10, Revelation 21:8, Luke 13:3,5)

Power in Numbers

If you are really going to give yourself to combating the injustice of human abortion, you have to be willing to “go it alone” – even for extended periods of time.  Many people who have done the most good and have made the most impact for the cause of Christ and for the sake of the unborn spent years hitting the streets by themselves, finding encouragement in God alone knowing that their labor in the Lord was not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

However, it’s always a great encouragement when people do catch the vision and come alongside to publicly speak out against abortion.  At the Abolitionist Society of Fresno, Tulare and Kings County, we have been blessed by the response of those who have picked up their cross to join the cause of abolition.

Baby Saved!

No matter how many negative comments and remarks we get from those who are antagonistic against exposing the darkness of abortion, it makes it all worth it when a baby’s life is saved.
